The concept of an alien moon base isn’t new. There are plenty of documentaries around that show grainy pictures and stretch their interpretations into a sort of UFO-believer rorschach test. These types of images don’t do much for the scientific community so when astronauts who’ve actually been to the moon begin speaking up, it’s worth listening.

UFOs & Aliens on The Moon

An American engineer and former astronaut, Buzz Aldrin was the Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11 and one of the first two humans to land on the Moon. Aldrin has made many remarkable statements over the years regarding UFOs and specifically, UFOs on the moon.

I saw this illumination that was moving with respect to the stars. We were smart enough to not say, “Houston, there’s a light out there following us!” So technically, it becomes an unidentified flying object. ~Buzz Aldrin

Buzz Aldrin Isn’t Alone

It’s not just Buzz Aldrin making these statements. Other astronauts, military officers, and former NASA employees have come forward over the years openly discussing their experiences with UFOs. One of the most famous Apollo astronauts, Neil Armstrong, has made many incredible statements regarding the phenomenon. According to the video, Armstrong switched to the medical communications channel and was quoted as saying, “They’re here, they’re parked on the side of the crater – they’re watching us!” Neil also supposedly said that being who occupied the UFO were clearly displeased at human arrival on the moon, “It was incredible … of course, we had always known there was a possibility … the fact is, we were warned off. There was never any questions then of a space station or a moon city.”

In 1973, the commander of Apollo 17, Eugene Cernan, was quoted in a LA Times article as saying, “I’ve been asked [about UFOs] and I’ve said publicly I thought they were somebody else, some other civilization.”

Scott Carpenter, an American naval officer and aviator, test pilot, aeronautical engineer, astronaut, and aquanaut said, “At no time, when the astronauts were in space were they alone: there was a constant surveillance by UFOs.”
