So, what solutions stand before you? Here’s how you can properly get rid of your large items and organize your home:

The easiest way to get rid of your bulky waste is to contact your city and ask whether they have certain waste removal services.
Typically, cities organize monthly or annual bulk item pickup days where the city maintenance takes your large items such as appliances, furniture, cabinets, mattresses, and others. However, not every city participates in free bulk pickup, so you might want to contact the authorities to ask around.
Recycle, Recycle, Recycle
Are you struggling to get rid of that old metal storage shed that’s been a thorn in your eye for years? Disposing of such a big item is not an easy task, but there are ways you can free up your yard and do something good towards a healthier lifestyle—recycling!
Smaller items can be recycled quite easily, but bigger ones like sheds might need to be broken down before getting them to a recycling center. However, if you have gloves, safety goggles, and some metal-cutting tools, you can be done in a day.
Before you start dismantling and loading up your recyclable junk, contact your local recycling center and check for any restrictions on what they will take. You don’t want to be turned down after all that labor!
Rent a Dumpster
If you’re getting ready for a big home renovation that will involve a small mountain of garbage and debris, you might want to consider renting a dumpster. When you settle on a good size, you also need to find a place to put it (on your property or on the street if allowed) for easy access. If you have a large piece of unwanted furniture or even an old broken-down car, you can always find people willing to get those items off of your hands, you just need to know who to contact.

You know what they say: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” so don’t hesitate to put everything you don’t need up for sale. What’s important when it comes to yard sales is to advertise well on social media and do your best to attract as many potential shoppers as you can.
Be Humane and Donate
If you don’t care about the profit, you can do a good thing and donate things you don’t need. You can put up signs in the neighborhood or contact some charity organizations and see whether they might need something or know a family in need of furniture or appliances.
